First of all, make sure the table is secure. Test it by shaking the table before you put the baby on top of it. Then, make sure the changing table is covered with a sheet for obvious reasons. Don’t place the changing table near sunlight because sunlight is not good for the baby. If you want to change the baby near the sunlight, put a hat on him or her so she or he can enjoy the sun while he or she is getting changed on the changing table. Take off all the baby’s wristbands from the hospital so you do not have to be reminded of the absolutely tortuous pain of childbearing. Don’t forget to wash your hands, if you are not wearing gloves, so that you can clean the excrement with freshly groomed hands. This is a vital tenet of changing table safety. And if you are the modern person, or have germ phobias, whip out those rubber gloves and protect yourself. Next, don some goggles just in case it is a male baby, and he’s got some good aim from where he lays on the changing table to your eyes.
